Led by a former Florida Trail thru-hiker and accomplished section hiker of several major U.S. trails, Ryan with Tropical Treks brings unmatched experience to every adventure. We are Florida's first and only all inclusive and live GPS tracked guided tour company. We have a unique software that allows the client and anyone they send the link to, to view their live location in real time anywhere in the world during their tour with Tropical Treks. This is to ensure your safety, security and assurance that you and everyone else knows where you are during your trip with us. Tropical Treks is owned & operated by a Professional who is trained in First Aide, Search & Recovery and Protection so rest assured your trip with us will be safe!
Don't have any gear? No Problem! We provide you all of the items to get you out trekking with us! From Backpacks, Tents, Sleeping bags and more we have you covered! Tropical Treks is here to provide you with the best and easiest experience allowing you to just enjoy your trip no matter the length.
From the beginning of your experience with us, you start at and end at a local hotspot. Whether it be somewhere remote, a place with history, a great restaurant or an outdoor sporting equipment rental location, you will continuously see and explore wild Florida Backcountry with us.
While your on an adventure with us you will only have to worry about enjoying your experience. All of our experiences include [and are not limited too] customized and every changing unique routes, live GPS tracked routes with Wi-Fi along the trip so that you, your friends and family can stay connected and follow you along your trek. Also, high quality photographs are taken throughout the duration of the journey for you to enjoy and share afterwards.
Additionally, the cost you see and pay is the total cost. Nothing more, no matter where or how long the trek may be. No tips are requested or expected. All of our experience also include permits, entry fees and if applicable shuttle coverage. Also, should you opt for our overnight trips, a dehydrated meal comes with your trip for dinner. Florida is hot, don't worry, we have you covered with extra water drops and sunscreen should you need or want. We have you covered with all of your needs.
All leaders of these explorations are highly trained, qualified and experienced. From experience on The Appalachian and North Country Trail down to the Florida Trail and across the states many forests and local parks, our staff personally customizes each trek with the participants requests in mind. Also, all staff members are trained and certified in first aide and protection to provide you with the safest trip possible.
